Many people forget some of the basic healing tips to work on when starting down their healing pathway. When you first get started many people are excited to jump into their healing work and it can be a very exciting time as you are learning so many new things and have a ton of possibilities at your fingertips. But let's not forget some of the basics you should work on to keep your energy flowing and balanced everyday.
Today's healing blog posting is covering grounding and centering your energy fields. These are some key pointers that many new practitioners forget to do. When working on these exercises try to remember to do them everyday, as they only take a few moments of your time and can really help keep the positive energy flowing and balanced. You need to keep the basics in a good format and not allow something simple to get backed up or out of balance, as this can then cause other energy problems for you.
Grounding Work: A very simple exercise to work on is the growing tree roots exercise. Many of you have learned this but this one has a pretty added twist. Yes, I said pretty. Close your eyes, focus your energy and see the energy coming out of your feet chakras and growing roots into Mother Earth. Once you have some deeply embedded roots, see the positive energy flow from Mother Earth coming back up your roots, while your roots stay anchored here, and come back up through your feet chakras and out through your toes. When this is happening allowing this energy to sprout pretty little flowers out of each toe. This completes a grounding loop for the energy cycle.
Centering Work: For this exercise you can close your eyes and focus your intention and breath work at your solar plexus chakra. You will want to open your connection through your crown chakra to the Divine Spirit/Universal Source and your feet chakras to Mother Earth. From your solar plexus chakra you will want to pull in the energy from both connections and have them meet here at your third chakra point. Once this chakra point fills completely you will then focus this on spreading out through all of your main and minor chakra points and then filling your entire body. You will then expand this outward once your body is completely full to your first aura layer, then your second aura layer and so on until they are all completely full. Now comes the fun part you want to expand this outward from here to the Universe and allow this radiant light to shine through you.
Remember to work on the basics to keep everything flowing and balanced while you are working on any of healing issues in your life. This is a good practice for everyone, as you do not need to be attuned to any for of energy to work with these methods!
